Rice Factory – India

The BIODISS Rice Factory project in India is designed to establish a fully integrated agro-processing facility that focuses on procurement, milling, packaging, and distribution of high-quality rice for domestic and export markets. The strategy is built around tapping into India’s strong agricultural base, ensuring direct sourcing from farmers, and implementing advanced milling technology to maximize yield and quality.

The planning phase begins with site selection near major rice-producing regions to reduce raw material logistics costs and ensure fresh supply. BIODISS conducts feasibility studies covering grain availability, supply chain efficiency, export potential, and regulatory compliance. The factory layout is designed for optimized workflow including paddy cleaning, drying, milling, polishing, grading, and automated packaging systems.

The execution strategy focuses on establishing strong farmer partnerships, introducing contract farming models, and building a reliable procurement network. BIODISS integrates modern automation systems to reduce waste, improve production speed, and ensure consistent quality standards. Quality control laboratories are implemented to test grain moisture, purity, and grading standards.

Operational execution includes phased installation of machinery, workforce training, and strict adherence to food safety standards. The company also invests in branding, packaging, and distribution channels targeting both retail and wholesale markets. Export strategies focus on Gulf countries, Africa, and Southeast Asia.

The long-term goal is to position BIODISS as a competitive rice exporter with a reputation for quality, consistency, and supply chain efficiency.
